City Voices’ guitar program was supported, in part, by a grant from The Mockingbird Foundation. This all-volunteer non-profit founded and run entirely by Phish fans, has now disbursed nearly $850,000 in 18 competitive grant rounds.

The City Voices 2025 Summer Music Academy program is supported by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Iowa Arts Council, which exists within the Iowa Economic Development Authority.

City Voices is supported, in part, by a Bravo Greater Des Moines Cultural Enrichment Grant. Bravo offers financial support to fund the operations, programs, and educational activities of applicants through hotel/motel taxes and remains committed to investing in its 17 cultural partners: Altoona, Ankeny, Bondurant, Carlisle, Clive, Des Moines, Grimes, Indianola, Johnston, Norwalk, Pleasant Hill, Polk City, Polk County, Urbandale, Waukee, West Des Moines, and Windsor Heights. Learn more at http://www.bravogreaterdesmoines.org.
