City Voices Executive Director Mary Anne Sims and Teaching Artist Chris Powell accepted the Rotary Club of Des Moines’s Community Grant in December 2017 support of the innovative Keyboard Theory program.

City Voices students sang carols in the Civic Center lobby prior to the Iowa Dance Theater’s production of “The Nutcracker” in December 2017. Students then received free tickets to attend the show, and a backstage tour.
